Backside/street

This is a whole different animal. Whatever you think you know about drag racing, throw it out the window. This type of racing is so incredibly tricky for so many different reasons and because of that, the car needs to be setup specifically for wherever your racing. This isn't a set it and forget it situation. The difference between a regular street, back of the track and front side no prep is so incredibly different, it'll make your head spin.
For example, a competitive car set up for something like Dig or Die might be 55% weight bias on the rear with a 16 inch crank height. If you were to try race that same car on a regular, decent street, it would more then likely be on the parachute mount.
But make no mistake, just because the parking lot isn't filled with stacker trailers and pretty paint jobs, doesnt mean its easy. In fact id argue its harder because money is going to only get you so far here. The only true metric of success in no prep is hard work and testing. There's no getting around it. If your not willing to use entire sets of slicks just testing, this isn't for you. You wont make it. You'll get out worked 10/10 times no matter who you hire and how fancy your equipment is.
Honestly, this is where i started. These are my people. Ive had alot of success in this discipline.
